What to expect at your appointment

We have the same approach for every client:

  •   Assessment
  •   Diagnosis
  •   Treatment
  •   Results

We always start with the same procedure: talking. We will take a full history of your injury/problem including medications and other investigations. We will then examine the area thoroughly.

This may last for up to an hour but you will always have some treatment on your first consultation. You will be required to wear suitable clothing e.g. we recommend shorts for leg or back injuries and for ladies to wear a vest top for neck/shoulder injuries.

We will give you our open, honest and professional opinion on the diagnosis and treatment plan including an estimate of the number of sessions you should require. We understand that prevention is better than cure. It is always our goal to provide you with advice and exercises on how to achieve improved long-term health and avoid recurrence.

If we do not feel that physiotherapy is appropriate for you, we will make recommendations for you to see your GP, a consultant or have specific investigations and liaise with the relevant specialists on your behalf.
